Raised in a family of interior designers specializing in fine homes, Eric developed a keen eye for design and detail. His prior success as the founder of a national franchising company led him to implement highly effective systems and personalized service that now define the Thrasher Aparicio brand.
Eric brings expertise in luxury real estate marketing, high-level finance, technology, and client communications, ensuring each transaction is tailored with precision and care. His commitment to excellence extends beyond business—he actively supports organizations such as Unbound and the Children’s Miracle Network.
Outside of work, Eric enjoys time with his wife and business partner, Gema Aparicio, their children, and close friends. He is passionate about hiking, yoga, playing guitar, interior design, and the arts—interests that reflect his refined and creative approach to real estate.

Gema Aparicio is the co-owner of Thrasher Aparicio and leads the company’s operations, client service excellence, and long-term strategic planning. With a global perspective and a foundation in data-driven decision-making, Gema ensures every client receives an elevated, detail-oriented experience.
Before joining the real estate industry, Gema successfully owned and operated an English-Spanish translation and interpretation business for 16 years. She holds a PhD in Economics from the University of Zaragoza in Spain and a Master’s degree in Economic History from the London School of Economics, underscoring her analytical approach and international outlook.
Originally from Spain, Gema has lived in the Netherlands, the UK, and the United States since 1997. Her multicultural background informs her thoughtful, service-first approach to luxury real estate and team leadership.
Gema is passionate about creating refined, high-touch systems that reflect the Thrasher Aparicio standard of excellence. In her free time, she enjoys hiking, yoga, meditation, and travel, and treasures quality time with Eric, their children, and loved ones—bringing balance and warmth to every aspect of her professional life.
